ANI reported today morning around 7:47 AM that in Madhya Pradesh | A woman has filed a complaint stating that her live-in partner, a BSF jawan currently posted in Jaipur, raped her on pretext of marriage for 2 years. A case under Section 376 (rape) has been registered against him 25th June 2021 said Gwalior Additional SP Hitika Vasal.
Many people including women in the comment section of this tweet of ANI has expressed their opinion which is in favour of the accused man.
This is not new to those who have been involved in the men's right movement.We have seen many incidents like this where girlfriends and live-in partner's have went on to file rape cases on their ex intimate partner's. There may be multiple reasons for doing this, from teaching their ex partner's lesson to extort huge sum of money.
To any rational mind "sex with consent" does not mean rape after breakup, that can be treated as cheating but definitely not rape. But the law allows to file rape case on "pretext of marriage" and we must have to follow the law of the land even if we don't like it.
Now we all are aware of the lengthy legal process of this country due to which this case also like others may take 3-5 odd years atleast. Till that time anything can happen to the accused, from loosing his job to his reputation whereas girls identity will be kept secret both during the case and after closure of the case.

As the matter is now under investigation we cannot take any side Untill any Judgement comes from court.
