Few weeks back a video went viral over the internet in which a senior police official(male) has been seen with his junior(female), indulging in sexual activity. Later the man was suspended & booked under POCSO(Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) but the lady was suspended only.
In The Video:- As there was a minor involved in the video so we cannot share it as it is against the Indian laws.
At the beginning of the video the lady is seen setting up the camera & the man was standing behind her.
Lady's son was swimming in the pool & he didn't seem surprised at all that his mother was nude & indulging in sexual activity with another man. That means the child is used to this and has been abused like this for a long.
Later the man & women started their thing. Suddenly the lady pulls her son towards her & made him press her breast followed by kissing that kid on his lips.
Later she accidentally uploaded the video & it got viral. Then her husband's side of the story came out. Her husband was aware that his wife was cheating on him with that police officer. He tried to file complaints multiple times but each time his wife along with her paramour managed to silence him because of their reach in the police system.
National media reported this issue with their deep-rooted internalized misandry trying to save the lady & only portray the men as evil here.
One popular portal reported with a photo in which the lady's face was hidden but the man's photo was clearly visible.
As I mentioned earlier the man who didn't even touch the kid was suspended & booked under the POCSO act but the lady- who abused the kid was suspended only.
And all big media houses successfully shielded the women as always and tried to hold only the man accountable in this entire scenario.
Conclusion
Crimes happen in every country, in every society. What matters the most is how laws & society hold the criminal accountable for their crimes. In India governor of a state comes to rescue a woman who cold bloodedly murdered 7 of her family members.
If people get different punishments for the same crime based on their gender then nobody can save society from destruction.
